I am delighted to have Cameron Mc Clean on my podcast today. who bridges the two worlds of spirituality and psychology to share a range of healthy mechanisms and strategies to empower the individual to take control of their own well-being.
His work as a psychic medium helps people connect with their inner child
.
We had a great conversation reminiscing about our childhoods, our parents wanting the best for us, driving us forward, and yet it wasn't a perfect fit.
But we had to travel that path to get to where we are today. I think that was the beauty of our conversation. realising we all face challenges and change, and in the moment, for many of us, we can feel despair and depression for being knocked out of our comfort zone, but then we find our true place by taking that forced chance, and looking back, we see how we rose from our own ashes like a phoenix.
Cameron suggests it's ok to fail, we can only learn from our failures, so please don't think you are broken or less than, it's only by our challenges that we get the opportunity to be independent.
If you ever get the chance, volunteer to be of service; it's a great way of finding your way.
Be open to trying new things. We have one life on this earth, and we are to be of assistance to other human beings, and so be open to finding our path.
Also, be open to spiritual awakenings. You might dream about someone lost to you, and that dream is your lost loved one visiting you.
Finally, trust your God-given instincts; they were given to you to keep you safe.
We can't hate ourselves into a life you love.

Jeremy shares his story, his journey from hopelessness to finding his purpose. He shares the lows and highs of looking for acceptance and approval from outside on himself.
He talks about where he is today and how he strives to help others find peace of mind today.
Today, Jeremy is a documentary journalist, yet he remembers being a geek and a nerd.
Once, Jeremy needed validation from outside of himself, whereas today, he is quite comfortable with who he is.
"Do unto others as you would like it done unto you."
This is the moral and ethical concept that Jeremy takes from his catholic upbringing. We are all just trying to figure it out together, so if we can focus on what unites us as human beings.
Never give up, keep going, do your best, no one can do it for you, it's always up to the individual, the opportunity to be the best we can be, and Jeremy would be interested in documenting your story if it resonates with him.
Jeremy finishes with some practices to embrace that will change your life. It's all about making the decision to be true to the person you are meant to be today.
We were all put on this earth to make a difference, and no matter how small an effort you make, even a smile or a gratuity of some kind, can be the difference in encouraging others not to give up on life.

Dean Graves & The Power of Meditation

Meditation is the most effective tool available to perfect healing.
Focus our awareness and intention on what needs to be healed by focusing inwards.
Awareness is probably the most important aspect of successful healing.
Dean, came from a lifetime of busy chaos, and hitting 50, everything changed. Dean experienced his spiritual awakening. He understood we needed to experience the hardships of life so that we can appreciate the good.
We are led to believe that we can get what we want to make us happy from outside of ourselves, when in fact, it has always been an inside job. To heal inside of us, we must invert and search inside of us for what is wrong.
For many of us, we need to go deeper than most, to heal the hole in our souls.
Surrender the one distortion that is Free Will ;the mistake we make is we are separated from our understanding of the creator; that we think we are in control.
Awareness, Love, Wisdom, Unity, & Stillness.
These are the inherent values of the Creator that we should all be striving to achieve, to emulate.
When we go into meditation and go into our subconscious mind, we enter into the guru's cave, where there is no harm or hurt.
Understand The Creator has given each of us the same tool to save us from our demons and peril; that tool is awareness; there is no one outside of us that can heal the disconnection from source, that's all us, individually.
Meditation is the best way to evoke awareness, by sitting in silence, watching your breathing, then switch to feeling what is wrong, then let that go; return to your breath until another subjective feeling comes up to release; and continue to repeat this practice.
This becomes a daily practice to keep your mind, heart, and soul clear.
Active trauma memories can block us from embracing awareness because of the thoughts and feelings associated with the event.

Kate Rizzo is a wonderful human being who carries an unusual understanding of how to deal with Grief and Loss. Kate and her soulmate hubby did their best to raise three beautiful sons, and believed she was living the dream.
Her beautiful son Nicholas suffered from social anxiety and was even nominated as prom king that year, but didn't want to go, not feeling good enough, that he was chosen for his mum and not for him.
He was very good at football but suffered many injuries, which led to a dependence on medication for the pain.
Kate noticed 'The Light was Going Out' in him
Kate and her hubby were caught between tough love and enabling; a horrible place for any human being; especially a parent.
Nicholas agreed to go to rehab; on one side, for those who cared it appeared as though it was a chance for redemption; but unseen; for Nicholas, it was the end in action.
Eventually, their beautiful child gave up and took his own life.
If only we could encourage our loved ones how to step out of their feelings and take some form of action.
If we can teach our children, our siblings, that it's ok to be weak, that on some days you can have a bad day, we will be doing them a great service. we have to remove the idea than a man cannot show weakness, or that it is okay to ask for help.
Kate shares how writing poetry became her healing journey. Everyone was helped by her taking action to heal; her hubby and their two surviving children were helped by her writings.
Grief really mirrors pregnancy for Kate. It was growing inside of her; no one was aware of this building in her, but it started coming out in many different moments, sometimes good and sometimes bad, which led to her writing poetry to express how she felt.
Kate went from victim to survivor, to victor, to a Helper, and she wanted for others to get through loss in a healthier way, so she used her poetry to help others too.
She saw the similarities for her between grief growing inside of her and pregnancy, and this better understand the grieving process for her
In time she knew she had to find someway 'to deliver' the grief from her sense of self, and so she visualized her grief to be the form of a baby gorilla by her side.
This visualization helped her to detach from the grief in the times when she needed to focus on her work and family.
Kate learned to say 'Yes to life', no matter how hurt she felt or how down she would feel, just say yes to everything.
Kate shares an AA suggestion, that if you are suffering with esteem-able conditions, do esteem-able things.
I pray that each of you can be helped by what Kate has shared here today and it is my hope that in the both she and her soulmate will come on as future guests, i believe it will help other parents to hear how dads cope with loss and grief too

My guest today argues that willpower isn't enough.
Max explains that we each have a certain amount of willpower to last our whole day, and if we are using too much throughout the day, on the wrong things, by the time we get to early evening, we have little to no energy, and we beat ourselves up.
Max and I had a discussion of two sets of voices in our minds in conflict in our heads, trying to control and manipulate us.
Max suggests not being able to accept us exactly as we are causes depression and anxiety; it's a terrible form of self-sabotage.
Max was saying that as soon as we start to compare ourselves with others, depression and despair set in.
The introduction of the internet has led to us competing with the world's population, and we can feel terribly less than.
Max would live if each of us could stop using labels on ourselves and others.
A label doesn't make us better than or less than; what matters is allowing us to be a normal, boring human being.
Max expands on his personal work on the suggestion that our bodies keep us focused on the conscious mind, to keep us focused on what is on our mind. Unfortunately, that is part of the problem. If we can find a way to strive to be in the subconscious mind, we will handle life better. One of the benefits of meditation and dream prayer, we can cultivate confidence in our practice through visualization.
We can create and cultivate the psychosomatic state simply by thinking deeply about it.
We are great at focusing on depression, anxiety, and worry; we are experts at this
. Wouldn't it make sense to decide that for the next 15 minutes, worry about being successful, wealthy, and in love?

My guest today is the wonderful guest, Dr. Armine, and what he has to share with the audience is that mental disorders are caused by past trauma. He argues that we have to treat both the cause and the effect at the same time. Dr.Jess further expands that emotional trauma is connected to a person's survival instincts.
If we are only treating clients at one level, they fall backwards on the other three levels.
Dr.Jess suggests we must treat the individual mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
If clients are being treated for mental illness and aren't getting better, then that would imply something is being neglected.
Dr.Jess believes that if we use medication only to suppress the traumatic memory and how it manifests, then, like Chornobyl, it will find other ways to come out.
Dr.Jess spoke about his personal battle as a father fighting for the well-being of his son, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Something we don't think enough sbout are what we're putting into our bodies, and what we're not putting into our bodies.
There is more to the solution, and thankfully, we have committed humans, like Dr. Jess Armine, striving to make a big difference in the world of treating past trauma and the effect it has on the human body.

I am delighted to have Larry Brandt, an Army chaplain and then a chaplain to the Navy, Marines, and emergency service folks.
Larry, best known as 'Chaps' to those who know him, expands on how to help those who feel church-hurt, disenfranchised, the lost, the forlorn, and the hopeless.
Chaps believe God will be available to you, right where you are. It's not a case of you having to get to a level set by any denomination; the truth is God loves you and wants a personal, intimate relationship with you exactly as you are and where you are.
Chaps is a big advocate of healing 'the invisible wounds', from trauma that was against them or they might have enacted.
PTSD is something that happens to us, but there is something deeper, 'Moral Injury', than conflicts with the essence of being a natural human being, mentally, emotionally, physically, and especially spiritually. We can become so filled with shame and guilt that the corruption of their soul can't be forgiven.
Chaps shares the power of prayer and how simple it can be.
God isn't Santa; He is not a 'go-getcha' figure like Santa.
Building a relationship with God is the one thing you can do to better your life.
Two-Way Prayer is very effective in all its forms.
Imagine your conversation answered, and how would that look?
If we can find meaning even in something bad, then we can dissipate the energy attached to it.
Larry shares his story of coming to Christ, from age 7 to who he is today.

A New Therapy for Mental Disorders

This episode is a shout-out to all the people who work in the mental health industry with mental disorders. The mental health industry, in a recent study, admitted that 39% of all people diagnosed with mental disorders were misdiagnosed. This means that some 390 million people and 120 million children have been misdiagnosed.
If you have clients attending your practice that have been in therapy for years, with multiple therapists and multiple medications, and the only thing changing in their lives is that their diagnosis keeps evolving into something else, then there is a very good chance that the client might be one of 'i in every 4 clients misdiagnosed'.
This program, I believe, is a Godsend. This is the first of its kind to offer the individual client a complete healing of their mental disorder by having the focus put on what happened in the past to their inner child, rather than how that makes them feelWhen the client realizes the past is none of their business, and all they need do, is give the details and the baggage of that memory back to their inner child, who was the actual victim, they can make a full recovery.
The benefit of this to your clients is tremendous, but on a personal note, can you imagine clients on your books, clients who came to you, have been in the system for decades, and finally, you have a solution that enables you to close such files?
How good would that feel?
I am always impressed by the people who choose the lifestyle of a helper. Their goal is to make a difference in the lives of those they serve. It must be heart-wrenching and soul-destroying to see so many suffer, and there has never been a viable solution before.
It's almost like, for all of your training and learning, your efforts amount to putting plasters on open wounds.
But then, out of the blue, as if from nowhere, you have a solution, a spiritual solution to heal the hole in the soul of those clients, and for you personally, it feels like you can make a difference.
"If I get my clients to do this work and break free of the bondage of the past, then they will be free to focus all their attention and intentions on the work I am trained and more than capable of achieving with them."
I believe we each were chosen by God to make a difference in the lives of those who were put in our care.
I believe your hands have literally been tied, by the past intruding on your work, you might at times have almost felt like giving up.
But then, as if from nowhere, there is a spiritual solution placed in front of you that revitalizes your self-belief that you can make a difference

In this episode, I am delighted to introduce my audience to Donna Donahue, a licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of working on finding the best solution to past trauma. Donna believes this isn't a one-size-fits-all solution, and she has dedicated her working life and practice to offering Hope to all those she meets on this journey.
Coming from trauma herself, she dared to write her story in the hope that it would empower others to stay the course.
Donna shares toolboxes that encourage self-empowerment and teaches the individual to thrive in their recovery, to rise like A Phoenix from the Ashes of one's path.
Donna's hope is for each person to go from the victim they were, in another lifetime, to the survivor they became in the present, and to understand their journey is only beginning, the time to thrive as a new creation is now!

First, might I point out we are talking about mental disorders caused by any past trauma memory rather than a mental illness.
Science tells us we should be focusing on the Cause and not the Effect
The Cause is what happened in the past, in another lifetime to our inner child
The Effect is the mental disorder diagnosis; how the energy of that memory manifests in our lives in the present; in our thinking, feelings, behaviors and habits.
How this program works is quite simple, what happened in the past happened to your inner child, it didnt happen to you.
They were the victim of the event,
You are the survivor
Two completely different aspects of the same person, from two completely different lifetimes, with two different life experiences,
Your younger self can't jump into the future to suffer your life in the present and by the same count, you cant change or undo any of the past, because it's none of your business and more importantly, its humanly impossible to.
With Trauma Recovery Anonymous, we give the details, the baggage and the sympathy pains you carry for your younger self, back to them in a simple 2 hour spiritual and holistic practice, followed by a full introduction to the 12 steps of Trauma Recovery Anonymous as a design for living, for the rest of our days,
This has always been an inside job.
Remove the Cause from our psyche and there is no longer any rhyme or reason to suffer the Effect.
It's a decision we each have to make for ourselves
stop asking and answering the question
"how did/does that make you feel?"
and start asking and answering the right question
"What happened in the past, to your younger self, your inner child, a lifetime ago, that causes/caused you to feel that way?"
Understand, you were never the victim, you are the Survivor!!
